What Is Communism

What Is Communism Communism is a political and economic doctrine that aims to replace private property and a profit-based economy with public ownership and communal control of the major means of production and the natural resources of a society. Communism also involves the absence of social classes, money, and the state. Communists often seek a voluntary state of self-governance but disagree on the means to this end. Communism is based on the revolutionary socialism of Karl Marx , who advocated a proletarian overthrow of capitalist structures and the establishment of a classless society.  Communism According to the Oxford Dictionaries, communism is defined as a theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs.

What Is Leninism

What Is Leninism Leninism is a political ideology developed by Russian Marxist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin that proposes the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat led by a revolutionary vanguard party as the political prelude to the establishment of communism. The function of the Leninist vanguard party is to provide the working classes with the political consciousness (education and organisation) and revolutionary leadership necessary to depose capitalism. Leninism in practice meant control of all aspects of life by the Communist Party and the creation of the first modern totalitarian state. Soviet Union (USSR) Flag Vladimir Lenin Statue

What Is Marxism

What is Marxism Marxism is a political and economic theory developed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the mid-19th century. It originally consisted of three related ideas: a philosophical anthropology, a theory of history, and an economic and political program. Marxism is a left-wing to far-left method of socioeconomic analysis that uses a materialist interpretation of historical development, better known as historical materialism, to understand class relations, social conflict and a dialectical perspective to view social transformation. It seeks to identify the flaws inherent in capitalism and proposes an alternative system. The basic ideas are that the world is split into multiple classes of people. The two main classes are the working class and the ruling class. The working class is exploited by the ruling class. Karl Marx Portrait
